Hi I really enjoyed this month’s puzzles. I think Aurelius’ was the toughest prize this year, and would possibly have conceded defeat if not for the desire to stay in the running for Hamish’s top solvers over the year. I am very glad I did because there were some excellent clues I solved late on – including that “tackled hooker” which is still making me smile a couple of weeks later. Very happy to leave more detailed comments – are we following 15squared rules in waiting until after the closing date/ answers published or can we comment with spoiler alert?

Have started this month’s puzzles very late and started at the back. Pedrock ‘s concise offerings are always s pleasure but favourite so far has to be Claret’s alphabetical. Currently tackling 🙂 Aurelius. (Always leave the guaranteed pleasure of an Araucaria till last).

Really pleased you liked them, Geoff! Yes, I think let’s wait till after the closing date for detailed comments on Real Answers, as opposed to general talk – hope that’s ok.

Windsurfer has asked me to pass on his heartfelt apologies; the title for his May puzzle should be ‘RUBIN, PC BARNSLEY FC CLUB CPT’. All will (probably) become clear in June’s issue, and I’ll note this in the Editorial in August. Sorry that this wasn’t spotted sooner.
